The Burroughs Home & Gardens is an award-winning, mansion wedding venue situated in Fort Myers, Florida. It has most recently been voted the Best Wedding Venue in Lee County, FL by The News-Press. This historic waterfront property is tucked away on two acres of woodland and is located on the banks of the majestic Caloosahatchee River. Facilities and Capacity

The Burroughs Home & Gardens features a number of indoor and outdoor event spaces to choose from to best suit your wedding vision. Say ‘I do’ within the historic walls of the Georgian-style manor house or surrounded by the lavish greenery of the exquisitely manicured gardens. The open-air pavilion features picturesque river views and can accommodate up to 175 seated guests in total. Featuring a spacious dance floor, it is perfect for celebrating fun-filled receptions with your nearest and dearest. History

Originally built in 1901, Burroughs Home & Gardens remains one of the first Georgian revival-style homes still standing in Fort Myers. It was previously occupied by the Burroughs family and still features most of its original furnishings, including twinkling chandeliers, handcrafted furniture, and more. Having hosted numerous notable guests over the years, including Thomas Edison and Henry Ford, it is now featured on the National Register of Historic Places.
