Our Venue features abundant natural light, chandeliers, hardwood flooring, a brick exterior with archways, market lighting, and original architectural elements. Conveniently located just outside of Orlando, Historic Venue 1902 is the perfect setting for your wedding day. You can find us in the Historic District of Sanford, the venue accommodates up to 175 guests. Our over 10,000 square foot venue offers beautifully restored interiors, featuring indoor and outdoor garden ceremony sites, indoor and outdoor garden cocktail hour spaces, bridal suites for getting ready pre-ceremony, a stunning large ballroom, and exclusive spaces like the Lounge and the Library to elevate your day. I had my wedding at Venue 1902 almost 2 months ago and people are still telling my family and me how much fun they had and how perfect the venue was!! The staff was great about trying to make sure that my day was as stress-free as possible. Every step of the way the staff at Venue 1902 was there to help me create the day of my dreams. I would 100% recommend this venue and this staff to anyone getting married. I would definitely choose this venue again if I could!! Taylor, Aleshia, and the entire staff are simply the best!!-

With her background in interior design and passion for historic preservation, Lisa’s vision of repurposing an old grammar school into a elegant wedding venue became a reality. Lisa and her husband, Brady, have 5 boys who can often be found working hard alongside the amazing Venue 1902 staff and concierge team.
At Venue 1902, getting to know our couples is one of Aleshia's favorite things! Aleshia joined the team in 2017, with her background in events and Interior Design, She will use her skills to work closely with you along with the incredible Venue 1902 team to help plan your perfect wedding day! She truly believes it is a privilege to be a part of your wedding!
Taylor always had a deep passion for organizing and planning, and she believes that every special event deserves to be stunning. She’ll work day and night to guarantee that your next event will be filled with unforgettable moments.

Venue 1902 is one of the most unique venues out there. The owners have done an AMAZING job with renovating the building from inside out but they were still able to keep the history of Downtown Sanford within it which makes it even more amazing. With the way they designed the reception hall upstairs, it is a blank canvas for any bride to make her wedding the way she wants to make it!
I need to say this venue is amazing. It has all the amenities a Bride can ask for. One look and for the first time and I am choosing this venue for my wedding as well. The owner is very professional and out going, she makes everything possible to please her Brides.
