The Edge Hotel is an exquisite waterfront-wedding venue located in heart of Clearwater Beach, Florida. Exchange your vows against the beautiful backdrop of the Gulf of Mexico for a truly memorable wedding day. Wedding planners will assist in organizing the details of the event so you can enjoy this special day. Lodging and culinary delights are additional features of the Edge Hotel.
Facilities and Capacity
Host a wedding event in one of the many venue spaces of the Edge Hotel. An exceptional and memorable outdoor space is The Water’s Edge Deck, which floats directly on the Gulf of Mexico. This space offers 2,500 square feet for your wedding celebration and a view of the stunning water and city of Clearwater. The Water’s Edge Ballroom is an indoor space that can accommodate up to 80 people or be separated into three different event spaces. This 1,700-square-foot area of the Edge Hotel also offers views of the Gulf of Mexico, Clearwater Beach and Clearwater Harbor. To take advantage of the gorgeous surroundings, step out onto the adjoining covered veranda for additional space. The Water’s Edge Pre-Function area features striking views and 950 square feet, which can host up to 80 people.

The Edge Hotel is an absolutely perfect venue! Leading up to our wedding, we dealt with Ashley Uhatafe. She was always very informative and helped us find answers and solutions for anything that came up! She was even able to get us a suite to get ready in last minute when we decided we needed more space!
We even had some guests of the hotel who were sitting out on their balconies during our ceremony, and one of the guys was able to get pictures showing that we had manatees swimming in the water behind us!
The only downside, which is of no fault to the venue, is that we had people from the pool area who were shouting and throwing things at my wedding planner while she was setting up, as well as at us during the ceremony. Hopefully this was a one-time issue and won't happen to anyone else.
The reception area was also perfect! The food was delicious, the staff were amazing, and you get full access to the balconies!
If you want a wedding on the water, this is definitely the place to do it! -

We began planning our Wedding with The Edge Hotel in Oct 2019. Everything was going smoothly until March of 2020 when the beaches and hotels were all shut down due to Covid-19. Unfortunately, Nancy Vargas, the event coordinator with the Edge was laid off and she stopped responding to my emails. Finally around mid-June Ashley Uhatafe, the event coordinator with the sister hotel The Holiday Inn, reaches out to me. She informed me that she would be taking over and bringing my event together. What a relief that was! Ashley was amazing and such a pleasure to work with.
Our event ended up being the first wedding for them since Covid. And it was a dream for my Husband and I. The Edge was everything I ever dreamt of. We got perfect weather and were able to get married on the deck on the water. Ashley, Christian, Jenna and the rest of the event staff were amazing! We had the best time!! Our reception went until 10pm but then you can head upstairs to Jimmy’s on the edge and party until 2am!
I 100% recommend The Edge for your wedding. You can tailor everything to fit into your budget and still have it be a grand event! Thank you Ashley and everyone for an amazing weekend! We love you guys! Definitely will be back to stay at The Edge in the future! Everyone is like family now!-
