History
Saint Clements Castle was completed in 1902. Howard Taylor was the brains behind the build, crafting it section by section with his wife Gertrude. At the time, oxen transported granite blocks to be used as walls. The wood found throughout the estate is chestnut and oak, and many hands played a part in erecting the house. Local Italian and Irish immigrants came to work on St Clements Castle each day, slowly transforming it into its modern glory. It was in the year 1993 that the castle was gifted to St Clements Foundation, Inc. This organization proceeded to restore the property with great care for future generations.
