Discover the perfect unique, historic venue for your wedding in downtown St. Augustine, Florida. The Treasury on the Plaza was once a grand bank dating back to the 1920s. The space has been transformed to perfectly fit modern weddings and events, but many of the incredible art-deco era architectural details remain. Wow your guests with one of The Treasury's most talked about features: The Vault Bar! The bank vault from the 1920s has been transformed into a speakeasy-style bar, right in the middle of your reception space!
VENUE SPACES:
You'll receive exclusive access to ALL of The Treasury's jaw-dropping venue spaces on your wedding day.
The Grande Ballroom, with its towering ceilings and ornate columns, easily accommodates up to 200 guests for wedding ceremonies or seated banquets.
The Vault Bar, located inside The Grand Ballroom, was once a working bank vault! Not only does The Vault serve up incredible hand-crafted cocktails, it also serves as the perfect place to make a grand reception entrance that will keep your guests talking about your wedding for years to come!
The Treasury also has a versatile space for cocktail hour called The Exchange Gallery located next to The Grand Ballroom. The Grande Foyer is the perfect space to welcome guests, and take first looks in front of our famous bay window overlooking downtown St. Augustine's Central Park. Get ready in one of our two private suites, The Plaza Lounge and Bankers Lounge. We offer in-person or virtual tours 7 days a week! You guys - this venue is to DIE for. We got married here in January of 2021 and I literally cannot say enough good things about it. Truly. It was the most magical place and I cannot tell you how many of our guests have told us that it was the most enchanting evening/event they have ever been to. From the grand columns, to the amazing original bank vault, to the package where we were able to dance on a cloud (literally), I felt like such a princess and it was the most spectacular evening of my life.
The staff is an added bonus. They all work seamlessly as a well-oiled machine. From the wedding and event managers (shoutout to Bailey!), to the bartenders (shoutout to Allan!), to the social media people (please go follow them - you can thank me later), to everyone else working behind the scenes. They made the day SO easy and stress-free for us. Such a GREAT group of people that I am thankful to have met and have shared the evening with.
I also must comment on the location of the venue. Right in the middle of downtown St. Augustine, it allows guests the option of staying close by so nobody has to worry about driving (hello, open bar!). There is also so much for guests to do while they are in town for the weekend.
Just an additional Covid note - getting married in the middle of a pandemic is definitely stressful, but the grand floor plan, along with the well-equipped staff, helped everything to feel somehow "normal" for a night in such crazy times. This is all we could have asked for.
To conclude, I simply cannot recommend this venue enough. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Every little girl always dreams of what their wedding day will be like and mine was everything I ever wanted and more, thanks to having it at The Treasury on the Plaza.The Treasury on the Plaza's reply:
