Meet Miranda, the Private Events Director at Running Deer Golf Club and Seven Tap-Tavern

Miranda graduated from Bloomsburg University & studied business administration/management.

During her time working for a private health club in Arizona, she assisted the public in hosting social events & weddings, despite their lack of equipment, they never turned down an event and always found a way to make it work! This guided her to fall more in love with the industry and she never looked back!

Miranda’s favorite part of each wedding day is after the ceremony! It’s completely natural before the ceremony to have nervous energy… so to see the relief wash over their faces when they take their first sip of champagne is priceless!

One fun fact about Miranda is that she is the queen of odd jobs! From selling hot dogs off of the back of a truck at a gas station to
tracking the first-serve percentage for a professional women’s tennis tournament for live television…every experience has molded her!

When she’s not at her venue, she is playing with her beautiful children who are 12 and 8 years old! They are such precious moments…before she knows it…she will be planning their weddings!

Meet Kate, the Private Events Manager!

Kate graduated from Wilmington University for Business Management. The wedding/event industry had always been something she had an interest in, but she never really knew how to get started. After taking a few courses geared toward event sales/management, she was hooked!

Kate’s absolute favorite part of a wedding day is getting to spend the few moments with the bride or groom right before
they walk down the aisle. She said that the couple is usually always a bit nervous, so she likes to distract them with questions
about how they met each other, how they proposed, etc. It eases the nerves and helps put the focus on their partner a
nd love story right before they make it official!

One fun fact about Kate is that her favorite movie is Pretty Woman. When she’s not at her venue, she is spending time with her family and friends!

Jessica is our resident local, born and raised right here in Pittsgrove, and a graduate of Schalick High School. Jessica graduated with a B.S. in Event Management with a minor in Hospitality Management from University of Central Florida.

After working in a few country clubs as a server in the past (Running Deer included!), Jessica loved having a hand in the success of different events, which is why she ultimately chose that as her focus in college at UCF.

Her favorite part of the wedding is seeing the wedding party all dressed up and watching the married couple’s excitement and love for each other during the ceremony and reception.

A fun fact about Jessica is that she spent 8+ years as an Attractions Operations Supervisor at Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, FL! Here she learned the ins and outs of theme park operations, specifically focusing on managing the guest and team member experience at the rides.

“It was such a unique experience that I never thought I would be involved with but it was great being able to interact with people from diverse backgrounds and create lifelong vacation memories for guests.”

When Jessica is not at Running Deer, she loves spending quality time with family. After being away from home and family while living in Orlando for about 12 years, her days off are spent with family and helping out as best she can. Jessica also has two cats that she absolutely adores and enjoy traveling when she can!
