Facilities and Capacity

The property offers a stunning selection of ceremony and reception event space. Couples can wed outdoors in a gorgeous stone grotto, situated beside a gently trickling stream. Built in 1927 to be a replica of the renowned pilgrimage site of Lourdes, this space provides a peaceful and serene setting. For couples who would prefer to exchange vows indoors, the site offers a non-denominational chapel. With high beamed ceilings and marble flooring, this chapel offers a delightful mix of rustic and elegance. Nazareth Hall offers three ballrooms of varying sizes, each with their own charm and distinguishing features. The LadyGlen ballroom is the largest space, accommodating up to 300 guests. Couples who are hosting a smaller and more private affair may prefer one of the smaller banquet spaces, such as the Riverview Library. Get-ready rooms are available, including the use of a former classroom, adding a quirky element to wedding-day preparations.

Nazareth Hall can host engagement parties, wedding showers and rehearsal dinners in addition to ceremonies and receptions. Couples who choose to host the momentous day at Nazareth Hall will be provided with an event hostess who will ensure that the event runs smoothly. This includes coordinating the vendors, directing serving staff and attending to the needs of the couple. Culinary needs will be exceeded by the on-site catering team in addition to bar services. The venue also provides couples with a list of preferred vendors, covering services such as photographers, DJs, musicians, florists, and bakers. An ample selection of wedding equipment is included or available to rent.

History

Established in 1927, Nazareth’s Halls originally served as a Catholic boarding school for boys. Run by Nuns of the Ursuline Convent of the Sacred Heart, the nuns were trained to provide the children with a formal education. The land at the time consisted of 400 acres, and boarders were able to practice sports across the expansive grounds, including swimming and rowing. Before shutting its doors to education in 1982, the school instructed over 4,300 boys.
