Our Venue: Wind and Sea is a private wedding venue located along the beautiful coast of Big Sur, California. This six-acre property offers unparalleled views of the Pacific Ocean from both their indoor and outdoor spaces. The property is naturally engulfed with pines, eucalyptus, vibrant succulents and a variety of fruit trees throughout the hillside overlooking the scenic ocean. This naturally beautiful venue also includes features such as an organic vegetable garden, outdoor yoga area, Jack and Jill copper tubs, sauna, and Ampitheater with fire ring. With all its amenities and scenery, Wind and Sea will be a one of a kind destination to host your memorable day.
Facilities and Capacity
Wind and Sea is easily accessible from the popular beaches in Monterey and Carmel, California. The venue offers overnight accommodations in their 3,000-square-foot house alongside a detached studio suite for even more comfort for you and your loved ones. This gorgeous, modern home consists of three bedrooms, two and a half baths, and a full gourmet kitchen perfect for you and your wedding party. Just a short drive to many popular restaurants, you and your guests can hit the town to explore some of the local eateries. This waterfront venue provides the perfect setting for intimate weddings of up to 70 guests. Their amphitheater with fire ring seating offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and creates a naturally beautiful setting for your guests to witness you say, “I do.” Every deck, patio, and structure is artfully placed to create the most beautiful views of the ocean and property.

I am a wedding planner and caterer based in Big Sur. I have been doing weddings at this property since 2008. I have done over 100 weddings here and this property is truly the best! It is easy for people to plan, it is unbelievably gorgeous, intimate and special. I cannot recommend any place more.-

Before we even got engaged, I knew that Wind & Sea was our venue. Pictures don't do this place justice, it is even more beautiful in person! Chris was very responsive throughout the whole process and the caretakers on site were amazing in setting up, moving heaters during our reception, and taking things down the next day. Our guests were blown away by the picturesque views and were able to get some great sunset photos with the Big Sur cliffs as the backdrop. Our day was truly made more special by having our reception here and being able to enjoy it with our family and friends. Highly recommend! -

My husband and I just got married at Wind & Sea for a 12 person elopement ceremony and it was everything and more than what we had dreamed of. The grounds are gorgeous and large enough for a full family to stay at. The hosts were also very accommodating of our small dog who was in the wedding. It really is a hidden gem and perfect for the couple that wants an intimate Big Sur wedding on the cliffs. Thank you Wind & Sea for our dream wedding! -
