The Riverview Room is a classic wedding venue located in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana. Occupying the entire fourth floor of the Jackson Brewery Millhouse, this property has a panoramic view of the Mississippi River and the Central Business District. Its central location is just a short distance from the most iconic sites and businesses the city has to offer. Here, you and your guests will have the opportunity to get a truly New Orleans experience while celebrating your special day.
Facilities and Capacity
The Riverview Room offers a versatile selection of spaces to host your event in. Prior to the ceremony, you and your wedding party are invited to prepare in the on-site get-ready room. For grand receptions, the main ballroom can comfortably fit up to 400 guests. This 6,000-square-foot room features floor-to-ceiling windows, mahogany paneling, and vintage lighting fixtures, creating an elegant atmosphere. For ceremonies and receptions overlooking the sparkling city, this venue also includes two open balconies, two covered balconies, and a large terrace for your event. For a ceremony in the open-air, you and your partner can say “I do” in front of a backdrop of the city with warm lights hanging above the space. In any of these rooftop spaces, you and your loved ones can admire the French Quarter while enjoying cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
Services Offered
The Riverview Room is a full-service wedding venue with on-site catering and event coordination available. Their friendly staff is happy to set up and clean up your celebration so that you can enjoy your day to the fullest. For your reception, you can choose from a number of serving options such as buffets, family-style meals, and stations. For those with dietary restrictions, gluten-free, nut-free, and vegetarian menus can be provided upon request. Drawing inspiration from the city, American, Cajun, Southern, and local cuisine can be prepared for you and your guests. Bartending services are also available. Throughout the celebration, you and your loved ones can sip house beer and wine along with premium liquor while taking in the views.

From the very first moment i stepped foot in riverview room i knew it would be the place that we would get married. I greeted by Isaac and we instantly fell in love with not only the venue itself, but the knowledgeable, fun, and kind staff! My mom and I canceled the rest of our venue appointments after our tour, if that tells any brides (especially destination) how amazing my first impression was. I knew being a destination bride was going to be difficult, but i was overwhelmed by how easy everyone at Riverview room made it for me. From the sweet card and candle i got in the mail after choosing Riverview Room, to the morning after the wedding retrieving our stuff from the venue, EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT(and easy.) The food tastings that they host serve and display some of their most popular menu items (but i can’t imagine there being a bad thing on the menu!) if you can make it to one of those i highly recommend it (if you can’t.. make sure you choose the corn and crab bisque and lamb pops - our guests are STILL talking about those.) Mandy made everything so incredibly easy. She was patient with all my questions, she was always willing to offer a helpful suggestion, and she was just over all incredible. Our ceremony was supposed to start at 6 o’clock and right at 5:50 it started raining and all of our guests came in. She came to me and asked me what i wanted to do because i knew that the backup plan was to have it inside. She knew that i wanted it outside so i asked her if we could hold off until 6:15 and if it hadn’t stopped raining then we would move it inside.... and asked if we could open the bar :) well she made it happen! Opened the bar and she notified our guests that the wedding would proceed at 6:15! When i tell y’all these folks are there for the bride and groom, THEY ARE THERE FOR THE BRIDE AND GROOM!!! They are amazing! They had attendants for us and attendants for our parents and we never had an empty drink in our hand. My mother in law has not stopped telling people about it! I honestly could go on and on and on about how amazing our wedding was all thanks to Mandy, Isaac, and the staff at Riverview room!! -

Our wedding is not until 2021, but my fiancé and I heard about this venue through family friends that have gotten married there. After just 1 meeting, we were greeted kindly and have been helped with every question. We received our proposal and made several edits through sit down meetings and shown exactly what was changed and was told how everything will be done to our specifications. We are very excited to have our wedding at the Riverview Room! -

Mandy and her staff did an amazing job. They walked us through everything and made sure everything went smooth for our wedding day. They went above and beyond to make sure that our day was special. I would definitely recommend this place for any special occasion. -

This venue has a great view of the river and the city. This is the perfect spot for a French Quarter wedding with plenty of parking just footsteps away. The venue itself has a feel of elegance.
