Facility and Capacities

Roosevelt Inn is an enchanting wedding venue for 350 +guests. You'll find a colorful garden full of geraniums, irises, and other blossoming blooms for outdoor weddings during the spring and summer, and gorgeous autumn foliage later in the year. Our waterfall and fountains make for a lovely ambiance to add to your special day. The large manicured lawn is nestled by tall hedges and pine trees for an intimate outdoor event. Inside the grand building, you'll discover our neutral event room and lovely parlors that can be transformed to match your vision for a memorable celebration.

Services Offered

The Roosevelt Inn's team has years of expertise in Coeur d'Alene wedding planning and will strive to remove all the stress from your big day. Their staff may offer quality rentals, such as chairs, tables, and fresh linens, and provide in-house catering for up to 40 guests. In addition to these services, the team may also offer on-site accommodation at their charming boutique hotel. Thanks to six suites and eight rooms available, you can have a relaxing night's stay for your special day. These romantic suites also feature tranquil lake views from morning to night.

History

Built in 1905, the Roosevelt Inn is housed in Coeur d'Alene's oldest remaining schoolhouse. Each spacious room is named after a former member of the Roosevelt School. Today, the property has opened its doors and is ready to celebrate life's most precious milestones, from elopements to traditional weddings.

We could not have chosen a better place to have our wedding. John and Tina, the owners, were on vacation and their staff gave us 24 hour 5 star attention. We reserved the entire Inn for the weekend and there were so many people about, but the staff was amazing and did everything to acommodate our guests. The chef made fantastic breakfasts every morning. The weather was bad so the wedding planner was able to move the reception inside. Truly an amazing place to have a wedding if you want everything in one venue.

The Roosevelt Inn is an excellent wedding venue

My wife and I choose The Roosevelt Inn at Coeur d'Alene, ID as we both wanted a small wedding. I would highly recommend them for a wedding venue. They went above and beyond to make our wedding the unforgettable. We both are looking forward to staying with them again in the future.

Our Doctor Who wedding was booked for April 22, 2017. I was fortunate enough to have my guests book the inn for the weekend making me the Queen of the World for my special day. If you can manage it, I highly recommend the Queen of the World package. Don't let the price tag scare you away! After your guests book all the rooms, you are only paying for the wedding package that corresponds to your guest count. We also highly recommend having The Roosevelt cater your reception. The food was absolutely fabulous! In the end, every penny we invested into our wedding here with John and Tina was well worth it. Having a themed wedding can be a challenge. Having a venue that allowed me to have free reign for my event was amazing!! In addition to being a proprietor, John is also the minister. Better yet, he happens to be a Doctor Who fan. My theme was based on two episodes of Doctor Who: “The Wedding of River Song” and “Vincent and the Doctor.” John performed our ceremony as Vincent van Gough, super red beard and all. It was amazing! We also had the pleasure of having Scott, John’s brother, as our DJ dressed as a Cyberman. I highly recommend Scott if you are looking for a DJ! One of the things that drew me to the Roosevelt was the love lock that you get. It is a lock with no key. It is two hearts engraved with your names and the date (or whatever you wish to include), that once locked is locked forever. There is an arbor where you can lock on your love lock along with the others who have done the same. It is something you can come back to and visit, for your anniversary perhaps. We will be coming back every year for as long as John and Tina are the proprietors of this perfect little treasure. Thank you both for everything you have done to make this time in my life one of my most beautiful and cherished memories. Words are not enough to express how much I recommend this establishment for everything from a weekend getaway to celebrating the most precious moments in your life.
