Couples can exchange vows on the waterfront at the historic, Mediterranean-style venue conveniently located between Bradenton and Sarasota. This historic 1920s-era estate will make a graceful and romantic backdrop for your wedding. The unique and vintage architecture of this venue creates idyllic wedding memories and photographs of your special day. The Crosley Estate was built in 1929 by Powel Crosley, a well-known inventor and entrepreneur. The venue operated as a winter home for the Crosley family, known by name as Sea Gate. As described by the venue, it is representative of “Florida’s Mediterranean Revival Architecture.” The outdoor surroundings offer the natural beauty of the locale, including an expansive view of Sarasota Bay and surrounding greenery.
Facilities and Capacity
You and your guests can enjoy multiple spaces across the Crosley Estate. First-floor rooms included with every rental of this property include the Great Room, Library, Dining Room, Breakfast Nook, restroom and First Floor Guest Suite. Second-floor spaces included in every rental are the restrooms, Balcony, Ship Room, Bayside Room and Second Floor Guest Suite. The Crosley Estate also offers outdoor spaces, including the Patio and Loggia, Bayside Pavilion and Bayside Lawn. The numerous choices for gathering ensure you will find the perfect fit for a ceremony or reception at this unique venue. This venue can host up to 800 guests and allows plenty of space for dining and dancing.

Celebrate your engagement party, bridal shower, ceremony or reception at the Crosley Estate. The team takes pride in their ability to deliver exceptional experiences for intimate wedding events. Their commitment to making meaningful memories extends to their hospitality. The Crosley Estate works with six local caterers for in-house food and beverage services including alcohol and bar service. You can bring in the wedding planner of your choice to the preparation process. In addition to our standard rental services, this venue is also available for photoshoots, elopements, and ceremony only rentals.

My husband and I just got married at Powel Crosley at the end of April and it was perfect! Our guests still can't stop raving at how beautiful of a venue it really is. We worked with JoAnna and Olivia throughout our wedding planning process and they were easy to work with and friendly. We love Powel Crosley and are so glad that this is where we got married!-
